Creating Your Desired Outcomes

Between this new moon and next month’s new moon there will be get-togethers with family and friends. Some we may be looking forward to, and there may be some get-togethers that we are not.

So, here is something interesting you can try for yourself. When Bill and I were traveling and teaching, we always set aside a few moments before each event, whether it was a get together with friends, teaching a class, or doing readings. And in those few moments we would synchronize our breathing and think about what it is we wanted to happen in the upcoming situation.

After doing this several times we began to simplify our outcomes, because what we really wanted was for us to feel good about ourselves, the people that we were interacting with to feel good about themselves, and all of us to feel good about one another (and while I know we can’t control other people’s feelings, we can set the stage to create the best possible outcome).

So, if this sounds like something you’d like to do, feel free to give it a try. We would like to hear about your results.

We would also like to hear from you about what types of articles you would like to see in future newsletters.
